Dr. Thomas Elliott Foster, MD

This refers to the appointment process at CNI in Spanish Fort, AL. I had a referral for ICD-10: M79.2 neuralgia and neuritis for Dr. Foster from Sept. 5, 2025. I was able to get an appointment for late December, but was called to change because Dr. Foster was not available due to hospital duties. I was rescheduled for Jan. 5, 2026. The day of the appointment I was called and informed that I could not see Dr. Foster because he did not treat back problems. I informed the caller that I had neuropathy in my lower legs and feet. They had to check and called me back TWICE, with the continuing statement that Dr. Foster did not treat back problems. Each time I corrected the medical diagnosis to what my primary care CRNP had referred me for. I was finally given the option to see a NP I did not know. At that point, I gave up, cancelled the appointment and returned to my Primary to obtain a referral to a different neurologist. This whole encounter has been non-professional on your part - I will… never recomment CNI to others.

Absolutely the best Neurologist in Mobile as far as knowledge and experience, with expertise to solve more complex problems than most others in his field. Fantastic bedside manner with compassion and kindness for the patient! Do yourself a favor and use Dr Foster, you’ll be glad you did!

I'm seen quickly. Everyone is nice. Dr. Foster is very caring and kind. He is really trying to help me with my migraines.

Our visit with Dr Foster was absolutely wonderful as always. He has been my husband‘s neurologist for years. We love him and trust his judgment 100%. We also love Theresa very much. They have both helped us through some tough times with my husband‘s MG. We highly recommend him to any patient with myasthenia gravis. He is truly awesome.

Friendly staff. Dr Foster was professional and provided a lot of information regarding my situation. He asked questions and listened to my answers. Very good first visit.
