Dr. Thomas Eugene Morris

Let me start off by saying that Dr. Morris was my pediatrician growing up, so when I had my own child I naturally trusted him. BIG MISTAKE. He may be an mediocre doctor if you have a perfectly healthy child, but if your child has any medical concerns, I am urging you to seek medical care elsewhere. When my child was 10 days old he started exhibiting odd behaviors that let us know he was in pain. I took him to Morris 4 times and every time he blew it off as colic. We finally decided we could no longer trust Morris and took matters into our own hands and thank God we did, we had my sweet 3 month old admitted to the hospital in which we found out his blood pressure was deathly high, even for an adult. Never, did Morris check his bp after we told him repeatedly that our child was screaming 24/7 in pain. While we were in the hospital morris repeatedly told Usit was just colic and "we may never find out why hes hurting". He then went on a week vacation and left us... like it… mattered.... he did nothing for my child in the hospital. Every time we saw Morris we inquired about my child's odd posturing. Morris said it was normal for babies. After we were released from the hospital (2 weeks) we switched pediatricians and within 30 seconds of his first visit (no exaggeration, literally 30 seconds) the dr said he had odd posturing and needed an MRI. His MRI showed brain abnormalties. We are still in the process off knowing my sons condition, but it can range from developmental delays to a progressive brain disease. If Morris would have only cared and not been so negligent, our son would have received the help he so desperately needed earlier, and perhaps his condition may have never turned so serious. I beg you, for the sake of your child, do not use dr. Morris. Because of him, my son endured physical pain and my family suffered emotional pain. I deeply regret my decision to trust him with my child's care,
