Dr. Nesbitt was very professional. Easy to talk to. He listens and is easily understood.

My only comment is if you need kidney surgery, see a specialist. Go to Vanderbilt, don't fool around with mediocre physicians.

Dr. Nesbitt's manner engenders trust, but his failure to grasp even basic medical knowledge poses a grave risk to his patients. You will like him as a person, but don't entrust your life to him. Over the years, his care resulted in misdiagnosis, blotched surgeries, prescribing of medications contraindicated for the presenting condition which resulted in additional invasive surgeries, failure to monitor basic patient vitals resulting in irreversible kidney damage, withholding information relative to the patient's medical condition (or gross incompetence if he was oblivious to the facts) and too many errors in treatments and procedures to list here. Surgical skills are grossly inadequate. He has a "You don't need to ask questions, just do as I say" attitude which can be comforting when your health is deteriorating. But careful - with that approach, your very life is at risk. Again, you will like his manner. He is a nice fellow. His pleasant attitude is reassuring and builds trust… and let's face it - we all want to like our physicians and trust them. Don't trust Dr. Nesbitt. He might make a good friend but a very poor physician.
