Have you seen Dr. Thomas Hakes?
Looks can be deceiving
A patient who verified they visited Dr. Thomas Hakes - Posted on June 29th, 2012
Initially when you see and meet Dr. Hakes he appears to be what you would want in a physician. However, in listening to him speak with his patients, in particular my parents, he is more than rude and disrespectful. There is no bedside manner to speak of, he rarely shakes your hand, and tries to talk down to you. When my parents finally decided to switch their care to another practice, his office manager was as rude as he, and they indicated that they would not refill medication because they were switching physicians. What?, you mean in the transition period they would not give a sick person enough medication to get to their initial appointment because they are upset? This is a practice for geriatric patients, who believe it or not are S-I-C-K!!! This is no ethical physician's attitude and you may question if he truly has a medical degree.
