I went to Dr.O'Connor for my 3rd and final pregnancy. I have always had high risk pregnancies and went into preterm labor during my 1st and 2nd. I was told I had an incompetent cervix by other doctors and I was naturally skeptical when O'Connor told me that he didn't believe that that was the case with me. Sure enough, he turned out to be right.I now also believe I never did have an incompetent cervix.I only needed weekly progesterone shots and carried my baby until 39 weeks with no complications. Two weeks ago, Dr. O'Connor and Dr.Mellon(another OB from the same office) performed a c-section and tubal ligation. I am recovering very well and cannot say enough good things about Dr.O'Connor and his fellow OB colleagues at Penbay. Seriously...best doctor ever!

Compassionate, caring, respectful, good listener, sincere, professional but friendly, knowledgable, and has a good sense of humor. One of the best doctors I've ever had.

Did not do ANY tests at first appointment Didn't take patient's valid concerns seriously Patient had an issue while pregnant, wasn't concerned. The issue if it had been addressed - probably wouldn't have resulted in a miscarriage. He's funny - I'll give him that much. But that's it.

Dr. O'Connor is fun and quirky but when push comes to shove he is the most compassionate, caring, grounded individual one could meet. He is a doctor in it for the right reasons...helping people.
