Dr. Knipe is an excellent doctor. He has the ability to explain the most complicated medical test results to the patient so that they are not only fully informed, but calmed and at peace with his explanation. I am very grateful to be his patient.

I do believe this doctor had good intentions, but there were issues as well: - I had a ruptured eardrum for a year now. Upon hearing from his colleague that my ruptured eardrum was scarred and unlikely to heal on his own, I was disappointed he performed a paper patch without explaining or undergoing the process of debridement so the paper patch would actually be effective. If debridement wasn’t an option and paper patch was unlikely to take, he should have skipped the procedure. - He also did not take take seriously my concerns of ear itching on the other side of the eardrum. I applied the cream he prescribed to entrance of the outer ear canal, but that wouldn’t resolve deeper itching. I was still at square one. - Information was not registering with oral conversation and this would reflect in notes.

I've seen Dr. Thomas Knipe for a nose surgery as I wasn't able to breath much. He is conservative with the treatment. He insisted on going without surgery but I was just too tired of not being able to breath. No problem! He has been amazing. He explains each step to you, doesn't rush you, makes sure he has all the information needed and tells what you might feel for the entire process. My surgery went super smooth and I was up and feeling no pain(no bruise neither) the next day. Also I've never felt the need to call the doctor after the surgery as he told me what will happen step by step. Thanks for making my surgery so much predictable and without any trouble. I'm able to breath like I've never been before.
