Dr. Polascik is an outstanding surgeon who is thoughtful and caring. He listened to all of our concerns and addressed every single one of them. He is thorough and pays attention to all of the details. That is unbelievably dedicated for a super sought after and busy surgeon. He saved my life. When the staff refer family members to see him, you know he is excellent.

… but D+ in bedside manner. Condescending and abrupt. Requiring the services of a urologist is bad enough. This guy exacerbates the unpleasantness with his attitude. That said, I found no reason to question his technical competence.

Dr . Polascik was a blessing during our battle with prostate cancer . Would highly recommend this doctor , he knows his business and knows it well! Great outcome after surgery and. 8 years later!

Anyone with Prostate Cancer would be well served to meet with Dr. Polascik and discuss their diagnosis and treatment plan. He is among the most prestigious urologists in the Unites States. While he may not inquire about your family members, he will focus completely on your health issues and provide treatment that is excellent.

We are grateful to Dr. Polascik for his guidance during a time when prostate ca was considered devastating...it turned out with his careful diagnostic assessment and treatment modality choices we had other options than radical surgery. He is thoughtful, respectful and caring and not afraid to be honest. I am glad he serves the community well and he is an asset to Duke.
