Dr Scalea is a legend in his own time. Saved my daughter's life and mine and thousands more yet he is humble. His heart breaks with ours when nothing mire can be done. He is one of a kind and I am a grateful survivor's Mom and a survivor. I got to be a MumMum! He is 13y now. Thank you!

This Doctor saved my life and continues to encourage me to live my life to the fullest. Very caring, considerate, attentive and answers questions. Was available all through my 3 months stay at trauma center and with my follow-ups. The whole all team he led were phenomenal! It gives me pride and joy to say he is my doctor and God used him to save my life.

I was in a life threatening motorcycle accident and the dr came back from a vacation to work on me because I was so bad, he saved my life. I have a traumatic brain injury but because of him I’m still here today ?? I’m so thankful for him and everything he did for me. He is a lifesaver for real.

Dr. Scalea performed emergency surgery that saved my life. His skill is beyond comparison. He has since extended himself to insure that my health is the best it can be, directly talking with other physicians caring for me. He is the "best of the best."

Dr. Scalea saved my life. He spent almost a year working with me to do so. He visited my room every single day and his team knew every step of my progress. He was always straightforward and never sugar coated anything. I am filled with overwhelming emotion when I speak of him. I am only in my 30's and he gave me back my life with my 2 children which I almost lost. There is no high enough rating to give for this man who must have been sent from above. Truly blessed to have been in his care.

Dr. Scalea is truely a gifted Dr. he is honest and direct in answering questions and giving a diagnosis and prognosis. I would recommend anyone who has a traumatic injury to have him as the surgeon working to save your life. He saved my life after my family was pretty much told things looked grim for me.
