Dr. Underhill earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. He received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina Medical School and completed his residency in urology at the Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia. He retired as a Captain in the Navy Reserves (USNR) and is an active member of numerous medical and professional associations and community organizations. He has been with the practice since July of 1978. Dr. Underhill is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
