Dr. Tiffany Hernandez, MD

I highly recommend Dr. Hernandez for newborn care. She is thorough in her exams and explains conditions and outcomes very well to parents. I especially appreciate her communication when things are difficult. I trust her and value her care for my newborn and 18 month old.

Tends to over-diagnose. Be careful. Does not respond well to an intelligent and informed parent. Has an authoritarian approach to healthcare. Pros are that she does connect really well with children and children like her. Cons are that through this connection, she tends to suggest illnesses to children that they latch on to readily due to her sympathetic and cheery nature, particularly misdiagnosis of mental issues. Not a good choice if you care at all about your child’s future. She will either find something wrong with your child or create an illness.

It was our first time to this practice, and the overall experience was excellent. Dr. Lacross was great. She took the time to answer my questions, and was very knowledgeable.
