Dr. Timothy Deer

Went to Dr Deer expecting to sit with him to develop a treatment plan, discuss the pain issues and how the pain issues would be addressed. I went in was told to put my head on the bed, a nurse put something on my neck. I thought well the doctor wants to see my neck. That wasn't the case he came in didn't introduce himself and immediately started injecting in my neck muscle. I cried so hard they brought in a chair to wheel me out in. It hurt horribly.

I also feel like I am getting run around. Dr Deer put a temporary pain stimulator on my neck and I have had nothing but problems with it and come to find out it reall isn't used for neck. When I contact rep from stimulator company he is more than helpful with trying to fix issues but when I call office to get a room so rep can try and fix issues all of a sudden they don't have time or a room for me. After I get the pain stimulator removed i'm done with these people.

Dr. Deer allowed my mother to remain in pain for 4 months. It took approximately 3 months to get an MRI and another month to get the results. She has to have a screw placed into her back - major surgery. This took four months to find out - not acceptable. We will not continue with a doctor who has so little regard for his patient's welfare.

My mother has been waiting for about a month for an MRI. I know that insurance has approved it because I contacted them. I left a voice message to no avail. My mother is in a great deal of pain and I cannot get this office to help. Ironically, this is a pain clinic that is not interested in alleviating pain.

Referred to Dr Deer by a trusted physician. I cried when Dr. Deer talked about my husband’s case as though he had actually read my husband’s medical chart. I had high hopes but after years of long waits in the wait room and failed surgeries and other interventions my husband had not had one option. He gets the run around. He’s never been a drug seeker but yet he had not had one pill for pain prescribed nor had he had any injections. They just want to make him a guinea pig and ignore our cry for help. You don’t get return calls, Doctor is always “out of town” and they change what they tell you one day to the next. Then they are rude, deny what they told you and down right lie and contradict themselves. We’ve been told appointment for one thing then go in and it’s for something else that’s irrelevant to the current issue. I can see why people seek alternative methods for pain relief because those who take an oath to heal seem more interested in milking insurance for every dime and… wasting your time with lies, false hopes, and half truths. Live a day in the life of our family “deer doctor”. A good man shouldn’t be forced to suffer all because you’re too busy to care. He had endured chronic pain for 15 years with no improvement since he’s doctored with you. He’s a patient man and an honest, faithful man of God who helps others overcome their pain and fears by being an encourager but you can’t do the same for my husband. God forgive you for doing honest people wrong. It’s not right. We never expected him to have full pain relief but husband deserves at least 10% of pain relief. Or else quit calling your business The Pain Relief Center because it’s a joke and an insult to families who are afflicted with pain. It’s not just my husband affected by pain...it’s our children and our whole lives. I hope you never know what that agony is like because it’s torture to see a loved one suffer who does not deserve it. Junkies get better care than good honest people. Shame on you all.

Dr Deer has been my treating physician since 2001. I have had a neck fusion and currently get pain injections and RFA injections. I can honestly say he has saved me. He is very nice and respectful.

Although it took several weeks to get an appointment with him, Dr. Deer was certainly worth the wait. He was compassionate to my pain and after asking several questions and having me to perform various physical tasks, he immediately had a plan for helping me. He demonstrated the techniques he would use by illustrating them to help my understanding. He was also very accommodating of my work schedule when setting up appointments for the different procedures. I would definitely recommend Dr. Deer to anyone experiencing extreme pain on a daily basis.

I recommend to friends slot, Dr. Deer is caring, listens, and really wants to help patients. He has a positive and fun attitude that made me relax and not be nervous.

Will never return to this office.

Dr Deer not very understanding and no empathy. Staff hatefull and treat their patients like criminals. I've seen elderly female crying after I was told how terrible she was treated by staff.
