Worst experience I have ever had with a Dr. the way he spoke to me was unacceptable and unprofessional. Unwilling to treat for hyperthyroidism, unwilling to listen to me as a patient. Took very little time and provided no guidance on how to treat my condition. Basically seemed very aggravated and unwilling to help. Would not recommend him to anyone.

Very arogant, very haughty, acted like because I was overweight, that my thyroid couldn't be the problem! My thyroid was 98, but he made me feel very stupid!!! Would not refer anyone to him! Sorry excuse for a doctor!

went to endocrinologist with clinical symptoms of hypothyroidism. he ignored anything i had to say as if he could magically diagnose with a single glance. drew some blood for thyroid tests. results came back low but within normal range. doesn't mean it's normal for ME. insisted i should be on testosterone and asked insulting questions about my sex life. later did some online research and discovered that the blood test results were meaningless because they should have drawn blood every four hours over a 24 hour period. one test at a random time of day is meaningless. gave me a script for testosterone which i did not need or want and hustled me out the door, after making sure he could bill insurance for maximum $$. made me wonder what his kickback was from the pharm company pushing testosterone patches.

I have moved my care from this office. I found my most recent inter action with both the staff and the doctor disappointing.

Dr. Jackson is not the specialist to see for thyroid disorders. He is disinterested in dialogue. Dismissive regarding questions. In my case, he refused treatment despite years of supporting documentation and recent severe illness. Rude, angry, judgmental...keep searching for a good doctor and strike this one from your list.

Bedside manner good if you are like Stafford wife patient. Bare bones minimum in testing. Angers easily. Irrate if ask for further testing and can be belittling. No belief in advanced studies and diagnosis of endocrine disorders such as adrenal fatigue. Absolutely refuses natural hormones and angers if asked. Does not let you talk. No patient physician communication. Does not return calls. facility doesnt use updated thyroid scale. Its not just dr jackson. The endocrinologist at Morgantown wv poc are cultish in that everyone of them appear to be driven by ego and refuse to advance in diagnosis or treatment options.
