Dr. Timothy Kuo

I contacted Dr. Kuo's office to set up a consultation to determine if chemo would be recommended for stage II colon cancer, which was now in remission. I had previously been advised by a doctor in The Bahamas that chemo is required, and another doctor in Florida that chemo should only be considered if my MMR test came back negative, which it did. My first point of contact would have been Christie over the phone, who was caring, compassionate, funny and welcoming. She set up the consult for me. When I arrived to my appointment, Cassie was very helpful and so was Heidi the lab tech. Now on to my first contact with Dr Kuo himself. He was also very warm and kind, very knowledgeable and compassionate. He said, if you were my mom or my sister, I would NOT recommend chemo for your particular diagnosis. He took his time in explaining and invited questions if there was anything I did not understand. It was truly a divine connection and I would highly recommend him and Novant Health Care.… Kudos to all the staff.

don't understand how labs gets lost and no one calls me..so I am waiting I also had 2 iron infusions they didn't help and no-one explains what I should do.. I go bsck on ferrous sulfate?I mean really when you are sick you put your life and faith in your doctor's..only to not get better and I really don't think my doctors are heart felt.. AND I truthfully believe in karma...

We saw Dr. Kuo fro my wife's cancer. He was calm and reassuring. We both felt less scared after talking to him. We are new to the cancer social club and Dr. Kuo gave us a very hospitable welcome.

Dr. Kuo is a wonderful Doctor. He never seemed rushed during appointment and took the time to answer all of my questions and explained things fully. He had no issues when I wanted 2nd opinions and was very caring and involved in my treatment - Highly recommended.

He was wonderful, and yet, professional. I would love to share my chemo experience with other breast cancer patients, as this is something you can get thru. I got my strength from him.

He is the kindest dr I have ever had always has put me at ease about my cancer !I would recommend him highly!He saved my life!

I have come to know this Dr. as my oncologist. I was truly blessed to find such a caring person. While there are not any guarantees for a full recovery when you are a breast cancer patient, I will never doubt my decision to have him as my health care provider. He instills confidence and I know that I made the best decision for myself.

He is the nicest Dr. that I have ever met. His confidence gives the patient just what we need to overcome the chemo treatments. I would highly recommend him to others.
