Great experience with Dr. Lischwe, Had my right eye done and had fantastic results. Dr. was professional and I was in good hands the whole time. Very pleased with visit and results.

Dr. Lischwe may be all right for typical cateract surgery -- I don't know about that -- but I have an I have an astigmatism, and he put in the wrong lens because he did not measure properly according to two specialists I went to in Columbia. So, instead of achieving 20/20 like the majority of cataract surgeries, I could barely read the first line after he was finished. On top of that, my eye was 3/4 scarlet for well over a month. I will never darken Dr. Lischwe's door again. And since then, I've talked to a number of locals (many in the medical community) who just shake their heads when I mention Dr. Lischwe, saying things like they would never go to him because his reputation is not good.

I would not suggest you see this doctor. There are much better eye doctors. Do yourself a favor and find another eye doctor.

Extremely open and informative. Since we are moving permanently here in a year, it's good to know the lake has such expertise and overall a great group to call on in the future.
