Dr. Timothy Garrett Purman, MD

I've been going to edge wood pediatrics since I was a child and now I take bothvof my children here as well. Dr Purman is awesome, he makes you feel a part of the treatment and makes sure all of your questions are answered. He speaks to you as an equal and not superior and my kids love him. The wait time is pretty bad but he is worth it!

Dr. Purman is a very easy going person who establishes a repoire with both parent and children. He takes his time to answer all your questions no matter what concerns you may have. Will advise you what's the best treatment options for your child. My kids have been with him for many years and like him very much.

From day one I know Dr. Purman was the doctor for us. He spoke to me (mom) in such a manner that was not demeaning or superior but supportive, and reassuring. Our children have been patients of Dr. Purman's for 2 1/2 yrs and we will continue our relationship for years to come.

We have twin 18 month olds that were born two months pre-mature. We went to Dr. Purman's office to interview him before the twins were able to come home. He took time out to visit them in the NICU unit even though we were not even patients yet. He spends as much time as necessary with us to answer any of our questions and ease all of our concerns. The entire staff at Edgewood Pediatrics is great! Their hours are extremely accomodating for two working parents. We recently moved, but will drive the extra time to make sure our kids are treated by the best!
