Dr. Timothy Curtis Simmons, MD

My mother has been without her medication for over 2 weeks, the office not returning calls! So UNPROFESSIONAL! Despite the Covid-19 order, the doctor has a responsibility to get back to his patients as several voice messages have been left. This medical group claims it is compassionate....NOT SEEING THAT!!

Dr.kirk T Simmons is an excellent Dr.and really care about his patients .you can feel his heart .they don’t make them like him anymore he is the real deal .love to you and family doc .from the king and coffey family always in our hearts .??

I recommend avoiding this Dr. at all costs. He performed a colonoscopy on me and he found a poly which he removed. Although I was told to call to make a follow up appointment with him in two weeks, when I called his office the next day, I was told that he could not see me and that I would need a referral from my primary care doctor. I was assured that I would receive the results by mail in two weeks. After two weeks I called and was told they could not mall the results to me. They said they could fax them to my primary care doctor where I could pick them up. I did that. My results said I had a carcinoid tumor (cancer) at the edge of the sample that he took. DOCTOR SIMMONS NEVER CALLED ME TO TELL ME THAT MY RESULTS WERE ABNORMAL!!! i saw my prmary doctor and he referred me back to Dr. Simmons, By this time it had been SEVEN weeks since the Colonoscopy.. During the visit all I got from him is what a fabulous job he did and he took great pictures. He claimed to have tried to call me but… I never received a call and all of my numbers have voicemail. When I asked what number he called he said he did not know.. I decided not to have Dr. Simmons touch me and ended up being referred to another GI who said that the doctor should have called me and that, if he had done it, he would have gone in a week later and tattooed the area where the polyp was removed. I guess this would have cut into the profit margin for Dr. Simmons. He also said the pictures were of no use to him because there were no reference points marked. By the time the other GI went in, he could not find the spot where the polyp was removed. So I am in limbo not knowing if I still have cancer or not and being told theres really no way to be sure at this point. Horrific medical care provided by Dr. Simmons. Avoid this doctor at all costs.

I went to see Dr. Simmons at West Gastroenterology Medical Group and I absolutely loved him. He treated me like a patient, not a number. He really listened and took the time to answer my questions. I could tell he really knew what he was doing.
