Dr. Timothy S Staacke has the following 1 specialty
Anesthesiologists are physicians who are trained to administer anesthetics, which are medicines used to block nerve sensation. Anesthesia can be either local to one specific part of a body, like a tooth, or regional to block feeling to a larger portion of the body, such as during an epidural for child birth. It can also be more general to block sensation to the entire body, resulting in unconsciousness.
Anesthesiologists assist in surgery by determining how much anesthesia is necessary and by monitoring the patient's level of responsiveness and vital signs throughout the procedure. The anesthesia specialist will also bring the patient out of anesthesia and then continue to monitor his or her vital signs post-operation.
Besides assisting in surgeries, anesthesiologists may also treat patients suffering from chronic pain.

I previously worked in a cardiac cath lab prior to my disability. Dr Staacke was highly recommended by my orthopedic surgeon. Working with physicians you get feelings about them. I knew from the moment I met him it was a good match. He is a human being first and treats you as such. He is a physician next and will speak to you in terms that you understand about your medical condition. He reviewed my case before my appointment including office notes, MRIs, x-rays, medications, etc. He will ask what your symptoms might be, how it effects you and your activities, your family members and work. He then examines you asks a few more questions and then informs you of what he thinks the problems are and how he thinks it should be treated. He will ask for your input and how you feel about his recommendations and treatment plan. I have had a couple of visits with him but feel as if I've known him for a long time. His nursing staff is very helpful and courteous. The most I've had to wait for him was five minutes in the waiting room. The Aurora complex he works in is conveniently located on the frontage road on Hwy 20, just East of I-94 in Racine. I rate my experiences with him four stars out of four each and every visit. I truly appreciate the time and efforts he and his staff offer at our visits. Thank you and God bless you Dr. Staacke.
I have been seeing Dr. Staacke since 2005 for multiple pain issues. I was previously seeing a different Pain Specialist and switched to Dr. Staacke, so I'm able to make an honest comparison between the two doctors. Dr. Staacke has a very thorough knowledge of pain and it's manifestations. He gathers any prior x-rays, MRI's, or EMG reports that you may have and does an evaluation after he examines you. He will order any necessary tests or refer you to another specialist depending on what the issue is. He will give epidural steroid injections for severe pain relief and may prescribe medication(s) to supplement the injection. He always has his patients come back for follow up visit to check your progress. Dr. Staacke shows alot of empathy toward his patients. He understands how the pain is affecting you and will always try to do whatever it takes to help you. Personally, I'm very happy with him, I like his personality and he is very approachable. He will spend extra time with you if needed, even if he is backed up with patients...I know this from experience. I would very highly recommend Dr. Staacke to anyone in my family or any of my friends or co-workers. He had helped me in a big way to manage my pain. Thank you, Dr. Staacke!!
