Dr. Tina Charu Bansal, MD

Dr Bansal is thorough and demands accountability from her patients. She gives them the information to take care of themselves and expects them to follow through. She treats patients like adults! She knows her stuff!

From first appointment with Dr. Bansal she rubbed me the wrong way. From the over 2 hour wait to her demeanor. She was condescending when I was explaining all of my symptoms or asking questions. She speaks to you like you’re a child. I stuck with her because I needed help figuring out what was wrong. She finally reached conclusion but didn’t care to find out what caused it. Was like a shrug of shoulders. Appointments were always so difficult, always had bloodwork to make sure big done before appointment, then always at minimum 1 hour or longer wait to see the doctor. Recently I had life circumstances that forced me to reschedule my appointment a few times, and she terminated my care. I tried to explain what was happening and she couldn’t even have decency to call me but resends the same letter but certified mail w/signature receipt required. Then a week later sends me another letter saying she heard my message about my circumstances but still would not continue care and I need to find… another provider in a timely fashion. She has no empathy or compassion. It was hard finding an endocrinologist which why I stuck with her but unless you’re her idea of perfect patient she isn’t kind. If I had ideas about what could be wrong she would appear annoyed and make condescending comments that made me feel like an idiot. She was dismissive. I do not recommend her at all. She also made comment about my weight gain from when I first started seeing her. It was only 5 lbs in over a year. She is also moody, you never knew if you were going to get the nice version or snippy version. She would take constant phone calls during every appointment you never have her undivided attention. You have to keep repeating yourself because of the constant interruptions. When I got my diagnosis she gave me minimal information about it. I could write a lot more, but strongly recommend going to another endocrinologist if you are looking for someone who makes you feel like they care and are vested 100% in your health. You don’t get that with Dr. Bansal.

I have to say that I am extremely disappointed with Dr. Bansal, and should have listened to the other reviews. I first started seeing her just under a year ago as a hospital referral for a thyroid condition. At first, she was very nice and attentive. Unfortunately, I was suddenly dismissed from the practice without any explanation or apology. I was SHOCKED. The longer version is this - after three months of not seeing Dr. Bansal, I called to schedule a follow-up appointment with her for my thyroid. I had needed to cancel two consecutive appointments because of a new job that placed new demands on my time. Having settled in, I wanted to revisit to have medication renewed and my thyroid health updated. I was unable to reach anyone at the clinic, so left a message asking for a callback and an appointment. A couple of hours later, I received a call from an after-hour receptionist (at 4pm) letting me know - with no warning or explanation - that the doctor refuses the appointment and… will not see me. This is extremely unprofessional, seeing as how I am left with no doctor and no prescription for a renewed medication. I guess I am on my own - and she does NOT care. Listen to the reviews, find someone else. Don’t go through what I and others evidently have.

Extremely discourteous about people's time. One hour wait. No follow up on labs and zero empathy.

Dr Tina Bansal, my mom has come home in tears from the condescending verbal abuse she has experienced on two specific occasions. The NP in the practice was the only one in that office that was of actual sane mind. Dr Bansal needs to be reported. My mom was threatened that if she didn’t take a new medicine that her insurance didn’t cover then she will not treat her anymore! What?!?!? Who threatens their patients!!!!! They are supposed to work with you and help! This doctor has said to my mom “well no you have wasted my time with all your taking”. What?!?!?!? So upset for my mom. If she needs to take a break then take one. This is not how you treat your patients. So awful!!!

I spent over an hour waiting for her. When I finally got in the exam room, I waited another 20 minutes. She took 3 phone calls while I was in the room, and couldn't remember what I had said before the phone calls. She had me to do unnecessary procedures and did not help at all. I do not recommend her.

Dr. Bansal is a fantastic Doctor that spends time with you and works with you until you are properly diagnosed. I was very very sick when I found her and miss seeing her because she is not just your Dr. she becomes like a friend.

I used to go to Dr Bansal but I am currently seeking a new physician. She is very demeaning to you if you ask questions. She acts like you are a child when she repeats her answer. I was only going there because her staff is so sweet and caring they help you as much as they can. I called to schedule an appointment to find out the girl that ALWAYS helps me and who I feel is the ONLY one in that office who has a clue has quit. I don't blame her because of the disrespect I witnessed by the Dr. but when you have an employee like that you should do whatever you can to keep them.

Dr. Tinal Bansal I would recommend her to everyone. She spend what time is necessary with you and does not rush you in and out. She listens and responds.

I was in to see Dr Bansal for a follow up appointment and I am a fairly new patient to her office. I just can't believe how long she makes you wait. She is extremely rude not only to the patients but to her staff! I was ridiculous the way she talked to them in front of me. I felt so bad for the poor lady that I actually apologized to her for her behavior. I will NOT go back to her for this reason. If she talks to her staff this way, makes me wait over an hour, extremely rude to me as a patient does not make me want to ever go back there again.
