Dr. Tina Marie Trzaska Joyce, DO

I have been seeing Dr Joyce for years now, but I will never go there again after the way I was treated today. I was seen by a resident intern yesterday who said he would write me a prescription, but the prescription was not called in which happens a lot with this office. After many failed attempts to call the office, I finally got through and the receptionist told me that Dr Joyce had reviewed what the intern wrote and said I wasn't sick enough and therefore would not call in the prescription. I was forced to go to an Urgent Care center for the same illness because I did not feel that Dr Joyce's office gave me proper medical care. The Urgent Care center was much better and I have medication now to help me get better. I do not feel that Dr Joyce's office was professional at all and they were of no help to me, but I will still have to pay for both appointments.

Dr. Joyce’s office KNOWINGLY misdiagnosed me with Lyme disease. It took well over 60 days for her office to send my medical records to my new physician, which led to a delay in my actual, more serious diagnosis of cancer. Her office is not HIPAA compliant, as my full medical records have still not been sent. Her office has also closed my Healow account with her, so I no longer have access to my digital health records with her. One of her nurse practitioners even advised me not to see an infectious disease specialist for my Lyme disease diagnosis, now I know why, they were withholding the lab results of a negative Lyme disease diagnosis. I’m glad I went against her advice. Dr. Joyce is lazy and let’s her staff do ALL the work. Her staff are usually rude and unhelpful when you call. My new physician’s office even had to file a complaint with Dr. Joyce’s office manager for how they were treated when trying to gather my medical records on my behalf. Dr. Joyce should not be allowed to… practice medicine. She uses her office to peddle multi-level marketing products such as doTERRA, which is not FDA approved and has actually received warning letters from the FDA for various violations. She has also converted to concierge medicine and clearly puts profits over patients. It’s inarguable that concierge medicine creates a two-tiered health system that favors the wealthy, limits the number of physicians to care for those who cannot afford it, and burdens the middle and lower class with a higher cost of insurance. Dr. Joyce’s practice has taken a complete 180 from what it used to be. It shows in reviews by myself and others. Here you receive rushed, incomplete care from nurse practitioners that really don’t know you or know what they are doing. Avoid her practice at ALL costs, your life depends on it.

This is an update. I first wrote that aside from being rushed all the time my lungs were not properly checked for cancer. I do not have cancer. That being said again with the being rushed. I tried to tell Donna of my worsening pain but if it's not a new issue we do not look at the problem. Also my liver is an problem they were supposed to be watching and they dropped the ball big time. I now have full blown cirrhosis of the liver . They should have sent me to a specialist a long time ago for this they failed to do so now I could die from this. So no I dont have cancer but this is worse at this point . You are supposed to be caring for people. What gives you the right to tell someone they have a problem but it just needs to be watched and then you dont watch it, you dont send the patient to a specialist now the patient can die. You will be hearing from my lawyer and if I die trust me my sister will take over the wrongful death suit. Hood job team

In her practice you see only nurse practitioners and they are not good at their job. They rush you and dont pay attention to what you are saying or what they are doing. The practice is very disorganized and staff is never checked on leaving room for many mistakes. My blood pressure was listed as normal for a year and it is far from normal. Abnormal bp can cause a person to stroke out and die or be paralyzed. So be careful who you are and research so you dont end up in worse shape than before you started..

Used to be my favorite doctors office but for the past year this facility has been nothing but a disappointment. To begin, it is now typical to expect rude phone calls. It takes over 30-50 minutes after when my appointments are scheduled to be seen and even then i have only experienced rushed consultations by physicians I have only met one time, and have never seen since. These are usually very confusing appointments considering that these physicians have absolutely no knowledge of prior medical history. This practice took an unfortunate turn. If you are looking for a place where you’ll feel comfortable, this is definitely not it.

Office made mistakes that are inexcusable.

I don't think I can make an appointment, since she started the five dollars a day deal I wish she would have told those under her care. You'll have to find someone else to be your doctor... Instead of the phone never being answered.. Some people rely on thier doctors / perceptions... Thanks for the heads up doctor Joice... Now, where do we go?

I became a patient of Dr Joyce’s about 4 years ago. I was VERY impressed with her care & compassion. However, within the last couple of years, I have noticed a constant turnover in office & medical staff (except 1 constant gal who is sometimes a reseptionist & phlebotomist.) NOW Dr. J HERSELF will only see you if you pay her AN EXTRA $1800 a year...over & above her regular charges. She has now relegated all her non $1800 patients to a NP or PA ( but notes on your Summary of Appointment that SHE along with the NP or PA has seen you!) I gather this is so she can bill the insurance companies at the doctor rate. I am not pleased with her Practice Management...thus I will be leaving her practice.

GREAT STAFF! DR. JOYCE IS FRIENDLY, CARING AND HAS GOT MY BP UNDER CONTROL. THANK YOU DR. JOYCE!
