Dr. Todd William Furness

I've been seeing Dr. Furness since moving to Utah. He is a very good family doctor. He listens to the needs of his patients. You can tell Dr. Furness anything without feeling nervous. He will do what he can to fix you up or send you to a place that will fix you up. I'm a female patient and have some medical issues. I've never felt uncomfortable with him. He has been gentle and explains what he is doing or going to do before he does anything. He takes time. Nurses- Dr. Furness's medical staff are highly respectful. They take their time and document well. They even have a sense of humor that is still professional and respectable. The nurses will call you back if you leave a message. Answer your phone though or expect a longer delay. Only negative issue is that I've had issues getting presciptions sent to my pharmacy. I thought it was the pharmacy so I switched to still have issues at the next place. It Is usually with the pre-authorization on one of my medications. I've… actually made appointments just to get it because I've been told they were sent but not. I can live without this medication it just makes it very difficult at work because I cannot focus on one task without reviewing it a million times to know what I'm doing. Waiting- The waiting has improved significantly since they moved to the lone peak office at kimballs lane. My wait is usually about 5 min. never longer than 10. I also realize that since Dr. Furness and his medical staff are pretty amazing and take time to listen to and help every single patient, I'm not an exception. So try to be patient if you are waiting for longer than 5 min. Front staff and check in- The front staff is super nice. The only issues I've seen is that they are a little gossipy. Once about their own and about a patient calling for medications. Even if you have a nice friendly face many people sit on their cell phones in the office waiting, it Is very quiet. You can hear it all. Even though there are quirks, I still give this place a 5 star. All my healthcare needs are pretty much met except going without one occasionally due to the nurses not getting the pre authoriztion done and front office staff being gossipy. It is still worth going.

I talked to a person named Jill on the phone one of the most rudest people I have ever talked to. I hope she does not represent The rest of Dr. Furness staff. Because of her I will not go back.

I travel from Idaho to Utah to go to Lone Peak. Dr. Furness and Dr. Jack are excellent Physicians that actually listen to the patient and spend time explaining everything. I haven't had that kind of an experience in Idaho Falls so I make the trip to Utah to get the best Medical care.

Dr.T.Furness is a seriously caring and thorough doctor. If he hadn't left Oh. And continued being my doctor.... I would have received help once the right diagnosis was discovered .

Dr. Furness is such a wonderful Dr. I love their staff and he is always able to answer any questions I may have. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Furnish is very knowledgeable and helpful. He takes the time to listen and gives expert advice. He's staff is the best and always gives the best service.

Dr. Furness takes the time to listen to the patient. I highly recommend Lone Peak Medical as the choice for your personal physician!!!
