W have two young kids that are in the care of doctor Ochs and have a always received great guidance care and advice on a variety of typical childhood illness. I appreciate that listens, gives reassurance and isn't too aggressive with with treatments. At times there's a bit of a wait for appointments which comes with being a very sought after doctor. The staff and the nurse practitioners have been awazing as well.

I have to say I was scared to go back to Dr. Oohs after reading alot of these comments. I first saw dr. Oohs when my daughter was 2. He immediately got us scheduled for all the many tests that we needed to figure out what was happening with her. He Followed up and I felt quite satisfied with his work. Mew since moved to the suburbs so only see him periodically. I read the comments on this blog and was definitely on guard when we went back in. I can happily report he was nothing but professional with us. He really connected well with my daughter to the point where when we left she said that was fun. I was relieved our experience was a good one and he diagnosed and treated her perfectly. So perhaps he has read these reviews and has cleaned up his act but I can honestly say we had a really good day at the doctors office.

The fact that Dr. Ochs is still in practice disgusts me. My husband and I are new to the city, and were referred to Dr. Ochs by a neighbor. His office staff is less than slightly courteous, and simply downright rude. When I took my daughter for her well visit, I was extremely uncomfortable with his "jokes"and gratuitous starting at my physical appearance. After multiple references to my physical appearance and wishing the same "luck" to my daughter, with zero questions about her developmental milestones, I had enough. I am no longer a patient, and after reading other reviews, I'm kicking myself for ever going to him in the first place.
