Dr. Todd Nolan Witte, MD

Northwest Gastro is great. I have trusted them with my gut needs for years. They did a "telehealth" consult (like Facetime) so I didn't have to come into the office. This worked great! Then I had to have a procedure and felt very safe going to their endoscopy center (Northwest Endoscopy), despite being in the COVID19 pandemic. They had me get a nose swab first. This was no big deal. They helped me arrange through a local drive-through, and they called me with my results. They explained that that way every patient coming through their facility has similarly tested negative. The are taking this very seriously and screening all their staff with symptom questionnaire, temp check and pulse-ox check first (I'm a nurse BTW). And all staff is appropriately masked and patients are masked too. Their hand-cleaning is obvious and they are really doing everything to keep patients safe. This virus isn't going away quickly, and may be around for the next 1-2 years, so it is important to… have a place like NWGI take these precautions, so that they can keep taking care of patients in our community. I encourage patients not to delay their care, and to go to NWGI.

I moved away and really miss the care I was getting from Dr. Witte. He was always very thorough with my care and explained things in terms that I could understand. Even after I moved away he answered questions for me through their online portal until I started seeing a new local doctor. The office staff was always great to me.

I have been seeing Dr. Witte on and off for more than a decade. He knows me as a person and not just a patient or a symptom. Dr. Witte is always quick to answer my questions and provides thoughtful response. I talk about him often with friends and family and wouldn't hesitate to refer others to him!

Dr. Witte has been caring for me for the last 8+ years. I rarely give out high praises to a Dr. because they should be giving there best at all times. However, Dr. Whitt has always, consistently, went above and beyond for me as a patient. He never makes me feel rushed, he always listens intently to what might be going on with me, he explains his plan of care slowly and in terms I can understand. But most of all he makes me feel comfortable enough to ask more questions if I am uncomfortable in any way. In my opinion Dr. Witte is not a good Doctor, he is a great Doctor. One I would highly recommend!

I have been seeing Dr. Witte over the years for heartburn. He is great. Answers all my questions. Great bedside.

I had previously gone to this clinic with another Dr. who moved away. I called and asked for an appt. with any Dr.. I was sent to Dr. Witte. I have Anky Losing Spondyilitis and was having some gut issues. When he came in, he glared at me, threw my file down on the table and still glaring at me, asked me why I picked him. I didn't pick him, his office set up the appt. I was asked which Dr. I preferred when I called but stated, I didn't care as I didn't know any of the doctors. I was speechless and he continued to be very rude. When I explained why I was there his advice to me was so crude I won't print it here. He was very angry & walked out of the room and I followed and left. What I found out after calling to say I had a very unpleasant experience with Dr. Witte was I was told I couldn't go to any other Dr. there. Staff was very firm about this. Never in my life have I encountered such unprofessional conduct. Be very careful when picking your Dr..

Dr. Witte is a great listener, answers all questions, gives a thorough description of procedures, is kind, gentle, and caring. Has advocated for me with the hospital and my insurance whenever needed. I recommend Dr. Witte without reservation.

Dr.Write is very competent and knowledgeable with excellent bedside manner. He explains everything well.

He has refused to see me for two urgent GI health problems. I was eventually hospitalized for one and was told to see my PCP for the other. It does no good to have a GI doctor if he won't even see a patient when needed.
