I had a very concerning experience with this psychiatrist. Throughout my care, my reports of medication side effects and withdrawal symptoms were dismissed rather than explored. When I attempted to discuss alternative options or a slower, medically supported taper, those concerns were not taken seriously. Most concerning, when I adjusted my taper pace due to significant withdrawal symptoms, I was told I was “making it up for attention,” and care was discontinued while I was still actively prescribed medication. This created an unsafe and highly stressful situation. Patients deserve to be heard, especially when reporting physical and neurological symptoms related to medication. A provider’s role is to collaborate and ensure safety, not dismiss or invalidate patient experiences.

Today was my first day with DR. González after having horrible experiences with Dr. Cesar Matos and the horrible reviews that Dr. Igoa has listed from this point back to 3 years ago(appalling). I had this condition for 20 years now and of all my psychiatrists DO NOT COME CLOSE to DR. Tomas González. My PDA(does not allow me to socialize with others well and the front Receptionist was very pleasant and hospitable. I got here and was immediately hit with a slight anxiety attack but she placed me in a room for 5 minutes and was seen by DR. In 10 minutes . Talk about personal and the best attention I have ever had. Plus after talking for a while he took care of me and gave me my proper regimen along with some new attempt at tackling my insomnia. Dr. González I thank you for saving my life( 6 days ago I attempted suicide ) but now looking forward to my life and so grateful for such an understanding doctor and human being. God Bless you and your staff. YOU SAVED MY LIFE . Thank you .@ KB

Dr. Gonzalez is the best physician!! He is truly an expert in his field and cares deeply about his patients, and it shows. No matter the time or day, he makes himself accessible to his patients, he even answers his office phone himself if he can! This is so comforting to me. I can’t thank him enough for his help. Thank you Dr. Gonzalez for all that you do.

Dumbest front desk secretary I’ve dealt with in decades. This office created an unsafe environment with confrontations and unfounded allegations. This Dr and secretary left me with more anxiety than I’ve known in my lifetime. In fact, the Dr requested I leave this review on google!
