Dr. Tracey Chantell Cawthorn, MD

I've been a patient of Dr Cawthorne for 4 years and she is always understanding and has always been good to me. She never judged me and even when I was financially short she NEVER withheld my medication as she wanted to see me succeed. I have seen other Dr's in the past but never felt as comfortable as I am with her.

Absolutely love Dr. Cawthorn, I’ve been seeing her over 2 years and from day one, she was professional, very easy to talk to and very caring. I had seen several psychiatrist before I found her, others would make me feel like I was just another person with my diagnosis and wanted to push pills. Dr. Cawthorn actually listen to me and we together found out what works for me, not what was convenient. I recommend her highly to everyone.

Dr. Cawthorn was extremely caring, attentive, and patient. She was very professional, approachable, and easy to speak to openly. Her concern for my care was genuine, and she listened before discussing any medications. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor who is understanding, down-to-earth, and thorough in explaining and collaborating with you about medications that are best for your individual well-being.

I was misdiagnosed by a different psychiatrist whom had me had on all kinds of meds. And every time I met up with prior psychiatrist she kept prescribing more and more meds. Finally when I met Dr. Cawthrone she took the time to evaluate me, and educate and respected where I was coming from. None judgmental and most importantly gave me the right diagnosis. And when I tell you she takes her time to know the patients she really does. There is open none judgmental environment with her. Very welcoming, and always truthful. I highly recommend Dr. Cawthrone for anyone who feels like they haven’t been heard

I started seeing Dr. Cawthorn about two years ago. Finally being diagnosed and starting treatment completely changed my life. She is kind, she listens, she’s knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond for her patients. I can’t imagine where I’d be if I wasn’t in her care. I am in such a better place in my life because of the help that I received from Dr.Cawthron. I highly recommend seeing her!

Worst psychiatrist I have ever been to. Lacks empathy or caring. Definitely looks down on you and acts as if you are a waste of her time. Please don’t make the same mistake I did and go somewhere else. Awful woman who should get her license taken away from her. I am now getting taken care of a psychiatrist that cares for me and makes me feel heard. Only reason I went to this heartless woman in the first place was that she was the only Doctor close enough that took my insurance.

The WORST experience I have EVER had with a medical professional in my entire life. She asked me what my issues are, I tell her, and she immediately invalidates me. And tells me “What makes you different from anybody else” and continues to invalidate me and insult me. She was 40 minutes late to my session and was texting during the session AND answered her phone. She berated me and I left having a full blown panic attack.

Her phone and texting her own life drama is more important than you paying to see her. She will then talk down to you and make sure you know she is better than you.

Doesn't return calls, doesn't call in meds, doesn't respond. She has left me without meds for over a month. I schedule telehealth appointments and no one ever calls. Abandonment.
