Dr. Travis S. Mickelson, MD

Dr. Travis Mickelson is a short-term behavioral health consultant for Intermountain Health's Mental Health Integration (MHI) program. He works within the medical setting to provide mental health services alongside your established primary care physician or specialist. MHI treatment is a short-term approach to help you manage mental health symptoms that may be impacting your quality of life. You will meet for up to 3-6 sessions. Patients who wish to see Dr. Mickelson must be referred by a primary care provider at one of the clinics where Dr. Mickelson works. During treatment, the clinic team communicates with each other to make sure you're getting the care you need. If you need additional support at the end of your treatment with this provider, we will assist with a referral to a long-term mental health provider.
