Trinity Bivalacqua, MD

I won't go into detail but this doctor becomes very beligerent when asked questions. He wasn't very helpful in helping my father deal with his illness. He seems to be cold blooded and has a no care attitude.

Felt he could/should have done more. Uncaring and very little follow-up. Horrible bedside manner.

My urologist gave me the name of Dr. Bivalaqua at Hopkins as a person I could get a second opinion from regarding my bladder cancer diagnosis. I had also seen him highly recommended on a bladder cancer internet network. I can truly say that I was really favorably impressed on the first visit. At that point I decided that I would switch doctors to Bivalaqua even though he is in Baltimore and I live in the Washington DC area. While he is patient and caring, he also doesn't waste time. I could not have made a better decision.

I went in for an initial consultation and didn't specifically request Dr. Bivalacqua. Everyone I met with before the doctor was very pleasant. However, once he entered the room there was an unmistakable hostility from him. After our consultation, during which he had a few choice phrases for me ("your old","just accept it"), I declined his offer for follow-up tests. I believe if I treated the doctor the way he treated me, he would have probably asked me to leave the office. Maybe he had a bad day but it definitely wasn't professional and not something I would want repeated. Based on John's Hopkins reputation I was really surprised by the interaction with Dr. Bivalacqua.

Never returned any feedback at all, yet kept all our medical tests, records. No help whatsoever. What a horrific way to treat a cancer patient and their worried family!

Dr. Bivalacqua is full of knowledge and energy. After meeting with him, I felt my care was in great hands and my fears for the future diminished. The team of Johns Hopkins and Dr. Bivalacqua are unbeatable.

My mother had bladder cancer and her bladder removed. She had many health issues aside from cancer which made her case complicated. Dr. Bivalacqua was an excellent doctor; asking the right questions, listening carefully and explained everything in a way we could follow easily. He is a caring doctor that I would recommend to others. Our experience at Hopkins was excellent.

Dr. Bivalacqua has excellent bedside skills , asked him if he could also repair my hernia when removing my bladder Nd Prostate was not a problem . Is precise and tells you what he is going to do for .you ! His staff is very efficient also .
