Great Doctor really concern about you as a person not only a patient z

I do not recommend this doctor. She is very condescending, cuts you off while you are talking, seems like she’s in a hurry, and she told me point blank she would rather have me go without BP meds and antidepressant med than me not schedule my appointment on time. I was without my BP med and antidepressant for 5 days and was feeling horrible and she would not approve the refill until my appointment 5 days later. I struggled to get through the week and go to work, sleep, and just function in general. When I arrived to the office she came in and asked what brings me here today! I said ummmm you said I had to come in. There was nothing wrong with me other than I needed my two prescriptions refilled. What a waste of time and 40 dollar copay. She is a rude person.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Nguyen’s for many years, I would recommend her to anyone, she’s very knowledgeable and has always taken the time to listen to me and answer any questions I have ,

Ask her about skin rash she said oh that's not anything in a very nasty tone. She yelled at me one 2 other visits when ask her something . She's very rude.

DECEMBER 29 2017 CALLED TO GET A REFILL ON MY MOTHERS RX FOR LOMOTIL. TOLD THEM MY MOTHER HAS HAD DIARRHEA ( DUE TO MEDS) AND IS DEHYDRATED. OFFICE STATED...WE NEED TO COME IN AND BE SEEN. THEY GAVE US AN APPT THAT DAY WITH THE NP. MOTHER AND HER CAREGIVER ( I WAS SICK IN BED) WENT TO GET THE RX FOR LOMOTIL. NP STATED SHE COULDNT PRESCRIBE BUT WOULD GET ONE OF THE OTHER DRS TO CALL IT IN TO WALGREENS. WE TOLD THEM WHICH PHARMACY TO CALL. PROCEEDED TO TELL US SHE WAS DEHYDRATED AND NEEDED FLUID. WE WENT DIRECTLY TO THE ER AND SPENT 5 HOURS THERE - DOING LABS AND GETTING FLUIDS. UPON LEAVING THE ER I CALLED WALGREENS TO SEE IF RX WAS READY AND IT NEVER BEEN CALLED IN. SATURDAY AM, I CALLED OFFICE TO SEE WHAT HAPPENED.....THEY STATED THEY WERE NEVER GOING TO CALL IT IN!! WHY WOULD YOU NOT HAVE FOLLOWED UP AND MADE THE CALL.......SHE HAS DIARRHEA AND IS DEHYDRATED......! I FEEL THE OFFICE HANDLED THIS WHOLE SITUATION POORLY.......WHY SCHEDULE US TO SEE A NP… FOR A LOMOTIL RX. NO RESPONSIBILITY OR EVEN RELIABILITY AT ALL. SHERYL SHACKLETTE POA

I like Dr. Nguyen, not only for her physician skills, but because she is personable and has a very witty demeanor.

Although there are qualified physicians closer to my home, I travel nearly 30 minutes to see Dr. Nguyen. She is both thorough and professional and the staff is friendly.

She was beyond rude. Brought me to tears. Cut me off mid sentence when I said I had a list of topics I wanted to discuss. (Really it was only 4 topics but I didn't want to forget to ask so I wrote them down.) She said that's too many topics for one visit. She said "Humana will kick it back". I don't even know why you would go to this doctor who clearly cares more about getting paid than helping or healing patients. I waited 3 weeks to get this appointment. I arrived 20 before my appointment time and I still didn't get seen for 1 hour. She spoke with me for 5 minutes and apparently I need to make another appointment if I want to discuss my worsening mental health issues with her. She refused to give me a physical therapy referral for my chronic ankle pain due to a bad sprain 2 years ago, however she did suggest we do an X-ray today in-house. I asked why an X-ray, when it's ligament damage? She said it could be a bone fracture... This was before I even took my shoe off. She said that a… physical therapist would "only tell me to stretch it" "I can show you how to stretch it." Again, this is before she's even examined me. Horrible horrible experience.

My Dad uses Humana Care Source. He can't speak English so a Vietnamese doctor is perfect for him to check up. That's why we chose this hospital, this doctor, Tuyen Nguyen. Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience.... My sister set up an appointment for him 2 weeks ago. The person who received the call did ask about what kind of insurance he used and the schedule was set up that today we could come. My Dad couldn't drive a car so my sister needed to take 1 day off her work to bring him to see the doctor. However, when they came there, the customer service said that Dr. Nguyen didn't accept this kind of insurance. That means she can't check up for my Dad. My sister asked them why they accepted and told the patient to come on phone 2 weeks ago and now they say they can't . They just said that was 2 weeks ago and now the doctor doesn't accept it. I wonder that they had the patient's information when we called. Why couldn't they call back and say "Please don't come, we change our… mind, we can't check up for you, please look for other doctors"? Is it the professional way of a hospital in America? Accept on phone and when the patient or the customer come, just say " WE CAN'T ACCEPT" without any apology or acceptable reason. Don't they think that it wastes our time, our money and our trust for this hospital also? Do they think that we can introduce to any Vietnamese who would like to set up appointment with this Vietnamese doctor anymore? We think that the doctor and us have the same language can help our community in America ... but now I know that I'm wrong. I can't say anything more. I'm really really disappointed......... P/S : The system requires me to choose at least 1 star. If I can, I will rate that NO STAR for this doctor.

Dr. Nguyen has only been our doctor for about 2 years. In those 2 years she has got Sirra's potassium ,diabetes, cholesterol and iron under control. This had never been delt with in the caring way that she has done. She is very caring for her patients. She keeps a close eye on her patients. If there is something that comes back in the blood work, she calls her patent not a nurse. She is awesome.
