She performed sinus surgery on me over 10 years ago. A couple of minutes before the surgery, I spoke with her regarding the surgery and what was to be done. She said my main problem was on the right side. I said no!!! Flip the Xray around--the main blockage is on the left then it was lights out!! Sure enough--she barely touched the left and now I'm having to go through another surgery where I live in Houston. I spoke with a nurse friend who used to work at the hospital there and she told me that Dr. Sparks liked to get a couple of surgeries out of each patient. More money that way. My neighbors' brother also had a similar experience. I have let it go so long because it was so painful. It should have been done right the first time. I give her zero stars.

Dr Sparks is a highly qualified ENT Physician. Spends extra time with her patients.

Dr Sparks is the best there is for throat problems...

I had a massive infection after sinus surgery and when I saw Dr Sparks 5 days after surgery she refused to give me antibiotics. The day after my surgery she removed the packing and listed "bleeding discontinued" in my chart even though the bleeding continued for a full week until I finally got a hold of her nurse by phone and demanded prednisone and antibiotics. every other person I have know who has had sinus surgery done by competent doctors has had follow-up appointments for a minimum of 6 months (NOT 5 DAYS)!! She refused to give me a copy of my records, I went to an out of town ENT and that Dr's staff gave me a copy which stated suspect mental issues because i had expressed my disgust with her lack of follow-up care. My surgery was in 2009 and shortly after she did a tonsillectomy on an acquaintance who ended up in the ER for excessive bleeding Spark's response was "I'm not surprised to see you here' you had a bleeder I couldn't find" Enough said!

Before you see this doctor, consider:"Dr. Sparks can't see patients without a chaperone, either in her office or in the OR, and she can't perform any genital, rectal or breast exams for any reason."

She should not be denying an appointment to an established patient with good insurance.

I am an established patient, However, I was denied an appointment & told there were no appointments available. I do not believe her staff was unable to give me an appointment. This happened about three years ago & I continue to resent this treatment.

Dr. Sparks was a real joy to see. She was accurate in helping with my problem, listened well, and explained everything clearly. It was great to be with a Dr. who treats you as a friend.
