Uberto T. Muzzarelli, M.D., obtained his medical degree at Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts and has completed his residency at Kern County General Hospital, Bakersfield, California. Prior to completing his residency, he served a two-year tour of duty in the US Army Medical Corps and was stationed in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Vietnam, and Fort MacArthur, California. Dr. Muzzarelli began his medical practice in the Imperial Valley in 1976 and continues today to see his patients at the Calexico Health Center. He has served twice as Chief of staff at El Centro Regional Medial Center. He has been a two consecutive terms President of the Imperial County Medical Society and has been on its Board for over 25 years. He currently is the chief of the Medical Staff Quality Council at Pioneers Memorial Hospital, is the Medical Director of Calexico Health Center and is on the Board of the Cancer Resource Center of the Desert in El Centro.
