Dr. Uma Rangaraj, MD

I waited five months for an appointment as a new patient. The office staff is very rude. They had to call me multiple times to ask for my insurance information. Then on the morning of my appointment, her office calls and says that she can't treat my problem and will not see me. She only treats diabetes and thyroid issues, so if you have any other type of endocrine problem, go to someone else. This was a total waste of time, and I am so disappointed.

Very busy and in high demand and still effective in letting you know you are the most important task in their day.

Dr. Rangaraj is great but I get highly agitated with her office personnel. They NEVER answer the phone and never return messages. For this reason I had to go elsewhere.

I do not doubt that Dr. Uma is a very good physician and I want her to treat me, HOWEVER, I find it impossible to get in touch with her. I leave messages that are never returned. In my messages I always inform them whether I am at the office or at home (they have both numbers) Invariably, they call the wrong number and their message to me is for me to call them....which of course I have already been trying to do. As far as I know, they never actually answer the phone. I find it extremely frustrating. I work at an office too, and we do return calls. If we are available we answer the phone when it rings.

Dr. Uma is very dedicated and cares greatly for her patients. Incredibly knowlegable in her field, but knows when to refer patients to another doctor.
