Dr. Urvashi Vijaykumar Sura, MD

Had a horrible experience with the OBGYN when having my first child. When I got pregnant again Dr Sura was recommended so I went to see her. Dr Sura was amazing, took the time to listen to all my fears, and promised me she would take good care of me. She kept that promise. At 34 weeks I went preeclamptic. Dr Sura caught the symptoms and sent me to the hospital and thankfully she did. I was in the hospital for 10 days and she saw me every day before and after delivery. I had a c-section and she did a beautiful job! She talked to me throughout the surgery, kept checking on me, kept me calm, and my incision is beautiful. If had I had another doctor I would not have had such a good experience and this story may not have had a happy ending for me and my baby.

I have IEHP insurance and during the end of my pregnancy I moved to San Bernardino county which meant I had to transfer my insurance which apparently takes 30 days, so within those days I only had straight MEDICAL insurance because of this I wasn't able to see my regular OBGYN so I HAD to see Dr. Sura. Since the very first appointment she has been so rude to me to the point where I feel like she is being discriminating and disrespectful. I went in and tried to talk to her about my mental health issues, and my concerns and she continues to comment and make fun of me for my weight. At one of my visits she humiliated me by making the nurses check twice to confirm my weight because she said "she couldn't believe how much I weighed." I am 38 weeks pregnant right now and have no choice but to be seen by her and everytime she checks my cervix it has been so painful and like I've read other people write, she really does not care about how uncomfortable you are with it. This is my fourth child… I definite have experience with pregnancy and all the procedures and appointments that come with being pregnant, I am no baby! She ignores my health concerns, she belittles my pain, she treats her staff very unprofessionally, and when I needed to hear from her from my last hospital visit she was unreachable. I feel like I had to warn people about my experience because of how much I dread going to my doctors appointments and how I am stuck with her because I am so late in this pregnancy. I hope when I go into labor that she doesn't show.

I absolutely love Dr. Sura I went through two other ob before finding her and she was the light at the end of the tunnel. Staff is amazing just like her. Delivery is always smooth with her.

I love doctor Sura! She's great. She has been my obgyn for 6 years now. Wendy her nurse is also great.

I love Dr Suri. She is extremely personable and her staff is so professional and friendly. Each time I've called to schedule an appointment, I've been able to get in without an extended waiting period. I would definitely recommend her to my family and friends.

Very promptly on office visits. Staff is great. Although sometimes I have trouble understanding the doctor. Everything else is ok.

Best doctor ever! Been working with my family for years! She was my moms doctor for us and now my siblings and myself all have her for our doctor! ��

I have never had such a horrible experience shes so rude and unprofessional! Even after i explained to her i had been molested so i wasnt really comfortable with the whole pep thing... She pretty much just said to grow up and open my legs! I would not recommended
