He rushed the appointment and did not listen at all. He didn’t even ask how I was doing. He didn’t check me. He just simply did not care. Dr. Podder does not care

Doctor Podder is an amazing Doctor! I read on one review that he has 37 years of experience and it really shows! He has always treated me with kindness and compassion even though he does work fast!! It doesn’t feel like you spend enough time with him but to be quite honest it doesn’t matter to me because I always get the correct treatment! (I don’t know why anyone wants to spend hours in the doctors office anyways) if you can get me in and out in a few minuets and still give me the proper medications we are on the same page! AWESOME DOCTOR!!!!

Came in and was tested for Covid based off of symptoms! Did the test that takes 15 minutes for results and it came back negative.... however my symptoms that as we all know are also similar to many other health conditions were still a concern to me. In addition my blood pressure came back 160/90 and has been this for numerous days this week. Dr. Pudder never even walked into the room to speak to me, he simply prescribed me cough syrup. I’m not a hypochondriac patient looking to have a problem... I wouldn’t waste my time or money if it wasn’t necessary. The fact that I did waste my time and money here to not even be acknowledged by the doctor regardless of my physical symptoms and results from blood pressure... and still prescribed COUGH SYRUP. Without any explanation or discussion is disappointing to say the least. I understand the times we are in right now but I don’t feel my health is something to take lightly and as a patient I believe I deserved at least for the doctor to poke his… head in the door or heck even discuss with his nurse so she can help discuss treatment and understanding of what they are suspecting. I don’t feel I got anywhere and this is the second time I’ve come and had this happen to me.

Evidently Podder is making a "cash grab" by moonlighting with the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System "CAVHCS". The "system" is broken and Podder is simply using this to milk the "system" for all of the tax payer funded VA dollars that he can. I have witnessed him rush "patients" through as quickly as he can, not even taking notes. He even told one patient recently, "as soon as you leave, you are on the "back burner". I must move on to the next room. We are very behind schedule and I can spend extra time with you"! This is Podder's real specialty... moving on quickly to the next "patient" and the next room of money.
