I was referred to Nixon by my medical group (which is pretty bad as well), and had deviated septum correction. It was a nightmare. His office is unsanitary and equipment so outdated and dirty that I should have been smart enough to leave, but I didn't. He convinced me to have the surgery just as a car salesman tries to sell a car. He even sat me in a waiting room and played a VHS video of people explainning how wonderful the procedure worked for them. The video was actually funny because it was as old as Nixon. I felt like I was in a bad dream, but was still stupid enough to trust him. When I went for surgery, just after anasthesia was adminstered, Nixon came in to explain that he was not going to perform the surgery with the method described in his office. I was doped up and agreed to whatever he said was best. Needless to say, I am worse for wear today than I was prior to meeting Nixon. His follow up care consisted of cutting scar tissue out of my nasal passage in cold blood in his dirty office. He said, "well, sometimes it doesn't work as we expect." I could live with that, but since my personal doctor has appologized for the medical group sending me to him. "I would not have recommended him," he says. I never finished the follow ups because it was so painful with no knumbing of pain and was getting worse each time I visited him. His hands shake and I don't think he can see very well.Make your own decision. You will understand when you enter his office and meet his geriatric staff. BUT I WARN YOU NOW AS YOU READ THIS, HE SHOULD RETIRE BEFORE HE GET THE HOSPITAL IN SERIOUS TROUBLE!
