Dr. Vernora Dunnell Hightower, MD

Dr. Hightower is rude, unprofessional, and dangerous! She said my daughter's chronic cough needed a repeated Rx for cough medicine and dismissed my concerns. I had a feeling that was incorrect and took her to Neumors, despite the fact that Hightower wouldn’t do a referral. Neumors diagnosed my daughter with silent reflux and asthma. I hate to think what would’ve happened if I would’ve listened to Hightower’s advice, that wasn’t even based in common sense. My 2nd bad experience occurred Sept. of 2023 when my infant was sick. I called the office ahead and explained the situation and they said I could be seen. I completely checked in and Dr Hightower said she wouldn’t see my infant-she decided she was done for the day, despite the office telling me to come in and charging me! I scrambled to find an urgent care to take an infant and he was diagnosed with RSV! She let him go that day and charged us without seeing us. This is theft, have yet to be refunded. She’s flat out dangerous
