maybe she shoult train staff in people skills becsuse their professionalism or lack of reflects on her practice

I have only been there twice but the receptionist or who ever is in charge was so rude and unprofessional and terrible attitude when talking to me about my son's medication she was snippy and when I asked for samples until his insurance provider was deciding if it would be approved she said I can tell you right now we don't carry that medication which I told her yes they did because the doctor gave me two samples then she asked me what medication he was on then okay you can stop buy and pick some up. If this is how she lets her employees treat people then I will switch doctor a because it's plain rude

Horrible experience

I had 2 appointments with this doctor. The first one felt rushed and it seemed like she wanted to be rid of me as soon as possible. She ordered blood work and told ME to call HER to get the results. I called when I was told to and it took DAYS to get a straight answer! I was then told I needed to have a liver biopsy and that her office would order one. A WEEK LATER I was still waiting to find out when I would be going to have this done. I finally called the hospital myself after being told repeatedly that the papers had been faxed in and that the office never heard back. The Hospital knew nothing at all about any of this and no papers had ever been sent in. I learned through the office manager that the procedure could not be scheduled until I had MORE blood work. I never once was told I needed any additional blood work! I went immediately and had that done and told them that if I did not have this biopsy scheduled in 24 hours I was going to another doctor. How I wish now that I had just done that! After the biopsy I had to have MORE blood work done before this "doctor" would see me. I did that and finally had my second appointment. She gave me a diagnosis of a pretty serious disease which really stunned me. I tried to ask questions, I tried to ask for more information but she refused to let me! She wrote out instructions for a medication that I cannot take, even though I told her I could not tolerate this medication, she insisted I would take it. SHe told me to make an appointment for 4 weeks, get more blood work done and she would see me then. That was IT! She simply dismissed me! I was scared and confused and really upset but she did not care one bit. Her office staff is completely incompetent and irresponsible. I will never, ever set foot in her office again. I am sorry I ever went there. I hope this review helps even one person avoid making the same mistake I did

Worst Bedside Manner

Unfortunately I had a need for a gastro doc with urgency and Dr. Deyeso was the only one with an available appt. Due to the timing, and with much trepidation I had a colonoscopy with her. It is a procedure I figured was fairly routine and for the most part it was a reasonable experience with her. However, the two times I met with her in her office, both before and after the colonoscopy, were simply unacceptable. Her bedside manner was confrontational,lacked all empathy, without an ability to listen or ask about my condition, a mean spirited Doctor who I would not trust with my condition for a minute. I am surprised she is in practice! I have contacted another Gastro for going forward and to be honest none could be as poor as this one! Horrible experience- I have never written a Doctor review before- this experience has prompted me to do this.
