Saw Dr. Gluhoski for social phobia, crowds and public speaking issues. She pulled me out of my shell and gave me a toolbox to work with. Wasn’t easy. It was scary at first but at end of day she gives you the talk medicine and skills to cope. It took some time but I have more confidence now. Her tidbits of advice helped. It’s akin to running a marathon - Start walking, then jog, then run one mile and then some.

Was referred to Dr G by one of her former patients. Had not been to a therapist for 3 years (and former shrink retired) but life events and anxiety started to get the better of me. Dr. G is a good listener who has been around the block. I learned some tools to temper my anxiety. She is in City only certain days. Initially hard to get appointment because of my schedule but thankfully we could get a routine down. I recommend her.

Dr. Gluhoski is very skilled at what she does, and I was confused by the other reviews as they completely went against my experience. She is an empathetic, warm, and compassionate psychologist who provided quality care. I've been to enough therapists to know when I've found a good one, and she is the real deal!

I had a terrific experience working with Dr. Gluhoski. She was kind, smart, and competent. I learned a lot in my therapy with her and so grateful for her help.

Vicki is a dangerously inept therapist. It can be hard to trust your own judgment if you're struggling, but there's a difference between treatment being challenging and your practitioner being unfit and even actively harmful. If you're seeing Vicki, it's probably the latter. It took me far too long to make a switch, and now that I know what effective treatment looks like I can see just how much is wrong with her. Avoid at all costs. To call her clinical approach "practical" or "no nonsense" isn't just flattering; it's patently untrue.

She is totally ineffective and has no empathy or compassion for her patients. She has a set time the she will see patients and if you take longer than that to get better she will drop you as a client. She’s selfish and unkind and poorly trained.

New convenient Chelsea location. Took juggling to get good appointment schedule coordinated but it worked out. Helped with anxiety, job satisfaction and issues with boyfriend. Took a couple of months to work through things. Definitely see her again if needed.

Effective psychologist that listens and asks the right questions to understand the complete context of the issues with the goal of identifying potential root causes. Dr. Gluhoski creates a safe platform for sharing feelings and open dialogue. Just be honest with yourself, have an idea of what you want to get accomplished. Her suggestions are helpful and effective. It's amazing how "cognitions" we operate under can be recalibrated with our own will and thinking. It takes some time and practice but her form of therapy works.
