Dr. Van Berkel saved my life! Performed very complicated procedure, along with Dr. Matthew Fox, to resect a dangerously located tumor. I am alive today because of his skill and dedication.

My family doctor sent me to him,he was nice bedside matters.Done biopsy on my problem areas,Done a great job made incision, it's going to healing great u won't hardly see incision go back up for follow up.He was also on it quick to find out what was wrong with me.Thanks Dr.Vanberkel

Dr Van Berkle was outstanding in instilling confidence, accuracy of diagnosis and bedside manner, spending as much time with patient as needed to ensure the procedure to be performed was fully understood...the full package...on a rating of 1-5, I give him a TEN. Follow up visits were always prompt, very friendly and never rushed. Simply put, an outstanding doctor.

Mr. Van Berkel performed my pre-surgery preparations, decortication of my severely empyemic Right lung. And was very thorough in the VATS proceedure and his bedside manner was exemplary. If I every need lung surgery, or any associated proceedures I would definitly be a returning patient.
