I expected Dr Raj (who is now in northern NM) to take over patients for another doctor who left their practice, however I have seen her twice and she makes a point that her specialty is far from my condition and asks me who my primary care is. Since she is working with primary care doctors, she should provide primary care services no matter what speciality she has earned in he past. And she should have been willing to take on the PC patients from the doctor who left. I got the distinct impression she wanted to et rid of me because I am complicated, and she definitely did not want tone my primary care. Medicine in he USA has become such a mess, everyone specializes in just a few areas and bumps all patients with other problems to other doctors. A complicated patient begins to feel like a ping ping ball, no one helps, everyone just gets rid of them as fast as possible.
