Dr. Vijay R Mhatre, MD

It's been awhile and yet I still remember how rude and unprofessional Dr. Mhatre was to me.

Office visit notes were false and non-caring of the patient:(

Dr Mahtre is a very caring, considerate Dr. The problem I have is with the staff. His Nurse very rarely returned any calls. I was always wondering if my RX renewal had been called in. I changed ins co and 3 wks before my specialty rx ran out, I called in my new ins numbers. Typically a RX was sent in with ins approval request. Not sure what was or wasn't done, but at 3 wks all I have is an auth number. Even if they didn't call in the RX with the auth, they received the auth letter and filed it. This from Dr Mahtre himself. You will very rarely talk to anyone, they screen their calls and voicemails and decide who they want to respond to. At 5 wks I still had not heard anything. I called the Specialty Pharma and they informed me they did not have a new RX for my specialty meds. I tried to contact the office and was disconnected the very first time. After that the ladies in the office were very rude, condescending and not very professional. One told me to calm down, yes I was very upset… and rightfully so. I told her that statement really pisses me off and to please not do it again. She then accused me of cussing at her and threatened to hang up. After that I went to voice mail every time. The next business day, I received a call from Dr Mahtre, stating they would call in a RX to get me through until I found another Dr. I called back and left a voice mail with his nurse and here I sit. The Specialty Pharma has not received a new RX, so we are trying to get the remaining refills from old pharma transferred. If I were to call back and tell the Dr office the Pharma has not received the RX, more than likely they will accuse me of harassment.

Dr. Mhatre was of no help to me whatsoever. He lacks professionalism and only helps certain patients.

Great doctor

He's there to help you not just for a paycheck. Has to be my favorite doctor of all time. I hope doesn't retire anytime soon!!

expects patients to be perfect, then when their not he dumps them for the first stupid thing he can think of. He even refused to talk to my primary care physician when she tried to find out what was going on. I would avoid this doctor, you'll be better off with someone else.

Nice guy, personable and courteous.

Upon seeing a variety of doctors to no avail, I was referred to Dr. Mhatre for diagnosis and treatment. Not only did he find out what was wrong, but treated it effectively. What he excels at: - Always on time - Always upbeat - Thinks outside the box when it comes to testing & treatment - Gives patients HOPE that things will get better

Excellent experience
