I am extremely pleased with Austin Gastroenterology, DR. Vijay Poreddy & his staff. They have all been very kind, helpful & informative. With their guidance & directions, lab tests are streamlined & less stressful. Because of his vast knowledge & surgical skills, I am completely confident in Dr Poreddy.

I like Dr. Poreddy, he is a great Dr. He takes care of his patients and very understanding, great job , Dr. Poreddy .

You cannot go wrong with Dr. Poreddy. He is highly skilled with years of experience. I have been his patient for my than ten years. Every procedure he has done have been successful. He is personable and never rushes my appointment. I’m blessed to have him as my gastro/endo physician.

Dr. Poreddy very thorough made the process easy being that this is my first time ever had dealing with G.I. Issues, both Dr. Poreddy and his assistant Tara have eased this whole new adventure highly recommended in my book.

I have been seeing Dr. Poreddy for a few years, he is compassionate and truly cares about my complaints and my wellness!

He is quick in the office, but pays aren't thin and makes sure to get diagnosis. He gets his job done.

Dr Poreddy saw me when I was hospitalized with severe anemia and did testing to find I had extensive ulcerations and made sure I realized the importance of caring for myself. I was impressed that he spent the time and presented my situation for me to realize this is something I should not "blow off". He also discussed the importance of seeing a hematologist and other procedures I should seek to make sure that my condition was treated appropriately. He was visiting me on the weekend and said"Where is your hematologist?" in a somewhat humorous manner (I appreciated the point he was making) In other words, he was there checking on me but the hematologist was not because "he was off for the weekend". I appreciated his interest in my care, finding the source of my bleeding and suggesting a treatment plan and coordinating it to put me on the road to recovery. He has a great smile that might be thought of as a smirk but it is not. I found him to be the better of the gastro… doctors that saw me in the ER and hospital. He made sure I got intervention quickly to get better. I recommend him over others.

Not sure about the other reviewers on here, but my experience with both Dr. Poreddy and his staff was wonderful. I was seen in the ER on Thursday and was referred to Dr. Poreddy. I was able to get an appointment the next day. Dr. Poreddy took the time to speak to me in a way that I would understand and I was sent for further testing that same day. Only giving three stars now for diagnosis and follow up as I won't know until tests come back.
