Dr. Vincent James Lloyd, MD

Has terrible professionalism and in my opinion does live up to even the basic of physician oaths. Refused to give mental health referral for a patient in crisis and need.

Dr Lloyd was the physician that saw my son in the ER. He refused to even do basic lab work when I brought my son in after a head injury (because my husband and I had witnessed our child having an altered mental status). It took over an hour for the ER to even take my son’s vitals in triage, and when this excuse for a doctor came in our room he gave me a trite lecture about the triage process and told me, in relation to my toddler falling frequently, that “You’ll just have to do a better job of watching him so that doesn’t happen anymore.” His blood sugar was moderately high in the ER, and I’ve been reporting that to his PCP (at the same facility) for months and no one will listen. Per the resident Dr Lloyd sent to discharge us “Yes his blood sugar is high, but this is an ER and it’s not high enough for me to deal with.” Their only advice was to take him to his PCP, which is the same pediatric program they are affiliated with, and which I expressed has ignored all my concerns.… Absolutely ridiculous. Clearly the “over 30 years of experience” he made a point to try to intimidate me with hasn’t taught him an ounce of bedside manner or compassion.
