Vincent Yen, MD

Dr. Yen has been helping me manage my continuing struggle with diabetes for a long time. Through all sorts of issues from weight and diet, through cancer and arthritis, and numerous unrelated surgeries. He takes everything in stride and helps me think through choices. He's probably the most intelligent doctor I work with. Doesn't order unnecessary tests. Explains results with as much detail as I need, like why a high or low number isn't a concern because of x. There used to be some problems with the office and staff running smoothly, but they've been corrected and all my visits over the last few years have been a breeze. If he's taking new patients, I highly recommend Dr. Yen.

Dr. Yen is great. Competent and smart and genuinely invested in improving my well being. It is always a pleasure to see him and discuss the matters at hand with my diabetes management. He's a great listener and a wonderfully responsive doctor. He is also very knowledgeable about the newest treatment options available for patients.

I made an appointment, which I had to wait a month & a half for. Then I was told they couldn't find me in there system. So they couldn't fit me in at all, now I have to wait another month & a half. Outrageous, I should not show up, but I heard good things about this doctor. What should I do?
