Dr. Vineeta Joshi, MD

Please find another doctor, wait time is long, she overbooks appts. and you wait, she sits and types in her computer the whole appt. doesnt pay attention to the patient except to listen to my heart..the exam room is very tiny and not appropriate for a wheelchair of any kind, she calls for tests but doesnt request the proper information be tested so the patient has to be retested again..no apologies, nothing..my time is valuable, now she is getting rid of patients whose insurance she has decided not to take because it doesnt payer her enough..guess $160. or $300 an appt. isnt enough for 5 minutes time...she doesnt care about those patients..she told us oh just change your insurance to suit my needs..are you kidding what kind of a doctor is that..not a good one...and her staff..kim told us when asked why the change she said that Dr Josh was paying for my parents appt. are you kidding...what kind of a lie was that...we dont like being lied to..thats not a good doctor or staff...this… doctor is like..okay you dont feel good, go to this specialist and dont call me..she proved she doesnt care by the lack of a proper physical exam, not following through on tests that she ordered and she never follows up on anything concerning a patient...she even complained about a specific medicine my parents were on and that she has to do extra paperwork in order to continue with them..are you kidding..what type doctor complains to patients kids about what paperwork they have to do...well goodbye Dr. joshi...my parent are now at a fabulous doctor who actually pays to have a proper size room for them to exam them in...they are up to date on everything even their blood pressure machine is modern/current..your nurses aid has to pump up the blood pressure bag by hand..how accurate is that...spend some money on your doctor equipment so you have proper results not guesswork..and pay more attention to your patients..read the issues they have..dont ask a person who cannot walk well to step up and sit on your exam bench and lie down when their back doesnt allow them to..read your notes...pay attention to your patients if you have any left ...stop lining your wallet and care about your patients more than your pocketbook..that was so nasty not accepting a tufts health plan..are you kidding..you were the only one..we checked..your staff kim said it was a group of doctors doing it but THAT WAS A LIE...so we left immediately...shameful... go to a doctor that is up to date, cares about their patients..read their reviews..have a meeting with them..but dont go with this doctor... R

Having parents who have gone to this doctor for many years..and with one parent now in heaven I am more involved in the doctor appts...and after quite some time..appointment after appt sitting with her laptop typing moreso than paying attn to the patient. A physical is certainly not a physical i have had...she listened to the heart, took a stool sample..talked a bit and your done..are you kidding..all this after trying to make the patient who could not sit on her bench..ask her to sit on her bench..doesnt she read what she types in her laptop....plus she asks for a test and when the results are not good..its the patients fault and has to be redone but all because Dr. joshi didnt ask for specifics be tested in the test.so it was her fault..and she blamed the patient..are you kidding..we changed Doctors and wow what a big office ..the waiting room is huge and the patient rooms are large enough to move around, put a wheel chair in and have both a doctor and nurse and family member to move… in...Dr Joshis office is so tiny you cant fit a wheelchair into it..the new doctor invests into the comfort of his patients..plus we found out that Dr. Joshi had not logged in the patients file some data that she should have...so good thing we moved. There is more to the bad dr performance but we will leave it at this..get a good doctor who actually cares about her patients and not her wallet..as this doctor recently got rid of over 150 patients because their insurances would pay her higher fees...are you kidding..go to a doctor that cares..this doctor was very dissaapointing to us as to how much she didnt care bottom line...much more to say but lets leave it at this.

Dr. Joshi has the worst bed side manner. She is extremely condescending. She does not look at you, she just types into her computer. I tried to get in for an earache, and she told me that I was cutting into her 1/2 day off. She did see me and told me I had an ear infection and that I was dramatic. If you value yourself, do not go to Dr. Joshi! Also, the wait time was over an hour, for every visit with the exception of the LAST!

i have known Dr Joshi for many years while i was a physician at Emerson Hospital. When my long time Internist died 3 years ago I picked Vineeta Joshi as his replacement. Vineeta is smart, caring and "likes" her patients. If needed, she refers to specialists early and appropriately.

Dr. Joshi has been my primary care for the last couple of years. She always gets me in when needed and is helpful with any ailments I am going through. Easily reachable. I would recommend her to future patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Joshi for more than 25 years. I have always found her to be caring and helpful. I have never felt ignored or rushed. Her nurse Kim is also very friendly and helpful. I feel very comfortable with the health care I receive from Dr. Joshi.

Dr. Vineyard Joshi seems 2b very concerned & is most thorough. However, probably cry of her nationality & customs, I did not find her very personable. Her secretary, Kim, added the warmth & compassion. The barrage of tests ordered told me again of her thoroughness altho the explanations @ the results left me wondering. But appointments are prompt & there IS consideration for ur circumstances.

Staff is very friendly and cordial. Dr. Joshi listened and helped me resolve many of my issues, and answered all of my questions. I feel relieved after my visits with Dr. Joshi and would definitely recommend her to my friends.
