No one on his staff wears masks. He does not wear a mask and he has to get up close in your face to examine the eyes. The Fort Myers/Lee County area is considered high risk for infection by the CDC and he does not seem to care about the health of his patients, most all of his patients are older and frail.

Gifted surgeon! We travel over 2 hours to see Dr. Bhavnani, he saved my husband’s eyesight who has battling with glaucoma since the age of 18. Would not recommend anyone other than Dr. Bhavnani. Absolutely love him!!

this dr. is one of the best you will find in fort myers,i first took my brother(an Korean war vet) to dr.bhavnani on the advice of the eye dr.at the VA,in fort myers,when the doctor finished with my brothers eyes,an we went back for his regular check up,the VA dr was amazed at the work the was done by Dr.Bhavani.he has sense operated on my daughter,my wife,an my self.this is one great doctor.

I have been under care of Dr. Bhavnani more around 10 years. All this time, I have been amazed how good a specialist he is. The treatment stopped my glaucoma and a surgery removed cataract, which are essential treatments for your eyes if they are the tools of your work (as a teacher, for example). Besides that, he performed a very successful surgery on my eye after an accident, and this required a significant professional expertise, which not every doctor might have. You can really rely on Dr. Bhavnani's medical knowledge and care when you are his patient. Besides, I have been always pleasantly and courteously treated by his staff, the nurses, which are extraordinary and extremely well educated in patient care. They know how valuable each patient's health is. {Grateful Patient]

Dr. Bhavnani was recommended to me by the VA in Fort Myers, FL in 2012 after being diagnosed with cataracts and severe glaucoma. Dr. B's personal expertise and excellent staff have been a blessing for me in the treatment of my cataracts and glaucoma. I would highly recommend Dr. Bhavnani for your cataract and/or glaucoma issues.

He is an intelligent and caring doctor. He takes the time to explain and answer questions. I got an appointment with ease and was seen within minutes of arrival. His staff is organized and friendly. I have recommended him and will continue to do so.
