Dr Vivek Mohan did surgery on my back which failed shortly after the procedure. He said he could "fix" it and the 2nd surgery also failed leaving me crippled and in pain. He was attempting to do a corpectomy w/fusion. I am sorry that I ever met the man

I’m a surgeon and brought my wife to Dr. Mohan for cervical disc degeneration. He listens and cares. He explains things well. He is an excellent surgeon. He performed a two level cervical disc replacement. A different spine surgeon told her to wait and then he would do fusion surgery. We are so happy and grateful we used him.

Took a chance on this Dr. for my spinal fusion. I was in so much pain and needed to find a orthopedic surgeon asap. Found him on line and picked him based on his reviews, his reviews don't tell the whole story. He is the first Dr. that answers his phone day or night. Most understanding and symphetic Dr. that I have ever met. I would recommend him to anybody who needs his help. His office staff matches him in their integrity and care of the patient.

I had my surgery on Sept. 5, 2019. After the surgery, I've only had 3 little pains in my back that were healing pains. His bedside manner is beyond belief. He treats you like your his best friend and wants to make you feel better. He sure did for me! Thank you, Dr. Mohan

I had a complicated cervical surgery on Sept 6, 2019 and Dr. Mohan preformed the surgery. Not only is he one of the most competent physicians that has ever worked on me, but his confidence inspires you. His office staff are caring and compassion with amazing follow up. They are knowledgeable and helpful every time I call. I have a long way to go with my recovery but I am very happy with my choice of Dr. Mohan as my surgeon and recommend him to anyone in the Chicago area with back issues.

After years of chronic back and leg pain I was referred to Dr Mohan at his Hoffman Estates office. From the first phone call I was treated in a way I really didn't expect. I was given a quick appointment to see him by his staff and asked to bring the necessary records for him to review within a few days. Upon arriving I was created by very friendly people and within a short time I was in with Dr Mohan. He had reviewed my lastest tests results and history and he explained that my problem can and would be fixed which was a real surprise. He showed me that my SI joint's were wore out and the slight movement of them caused me the pain I have been dealing with 24/7 could be fixed. We set up the proper new tests and then surgery to get the problem taken care of. Needless to say I still had some doubt but for some reason I had alot of faith in what he said. Well after the surgery and rehab my pain level has really dropped and he only did the right side which was the worst. In addition Dr… Mohan said he would get me off the pain med's I've been taking for a long time. At this time I'am still in recovery of healing but doing good and not much pain as before and I have stopped taking the pain med's alos. Dr Mohan is one DR I firmly believe and trust and if you have the same problem he can fix yours also. Thank you Dr Mohan for helping me..............

Dr. Mohan and his staff are the best! He has taken such good care of me, goes above and beyond, is extremely knowledgeable, made my family feel comfortable, has a fabulous bedside manner, and is an extremely skilled surgeon. I've have the privilege of also working with Dr. Mohan in the OR before being his patient, and I highly recommend Dr. Mohan. I know a lot of spine surgeons in the Chicago area, and could have picked anyone. I chose Dr. Mohan! You should choose him too!

Dr. Mohan is a very special Physician, when I first met him to talk about the sciatic nerve pain I was experiencing, I felt an immediate sense of trust in him. He explained to me in detail what he could do for me which included spine surgery, he took the time to answer all my questions and when I opted for surgery, he asked when I wanted to have the surgery and I answered “next Tuesday” then he got me in within a week. Dr. Mohan is exceptional in that he is very kind, compassionate, meticulous, never arrogant, always courteous, trustworthy, humorous, always interested and doesn’t forget what you say, and he truly cares about his patient’s whole well being. When I went in for surgery I was in major pain, after the day of surgery and recovery I had very little pain which proved to be true from the time I went home and all through six weeks later. I was given some strong medications for pain and muscle spasms but all I needed was 2 Extra Strength Tylenol per day which was amazing to me. I… must also say that his staff at the front end are cheerful, kind, professional and true to Dr. Mohan. I had two follow up appointments with Dr Mohan and I never once had a long wait to see the doctor, he allowed ample time to make sure any questions or concerns will be addressed in the follow ups which were always a positive experience. I feel so good about the outcome of the surgery and I am glad I went with it, new and old desires came to me because of it include getting back to horseback riding, dancing, pursuing a new job, taking some courses at a college and clearing out old “stuff” that I don’t need from the house. Dr. Mohan is not just a good doctor, he is a great doctor and the best I have ever had the pleasure to meet.

told my 85 year old mother she needed emergancy surgery and no time for second opinion. had the staff schedule appointments to get her Drs to clear her for surgery 4 days later. poor follow up never returned calls and next thing you know he"s no longer with Du Page Medical Group. let him do your surgery and let the buyuer beware. ) wasn't an option or would have given him that
