This doctor should not even be allowed to practice medicine. He didn't use common sense and misdiagnosed a young patient, which led to significant costing the patient serious consequences.

I had a 3pm appointment to schedule a routine colonoscopy, arrived 2:55pm, was told to wait as I did patiently until 3:35pm I kindly asked when will I be seen as I was informed Dr Bethala was held up at the hospital which was completely not respectful of my time…therefore, I cancelled the appointment and left with much frustration!! I showed up on time…I expect the Dr do the same!!! We all have busy schedules!! With that said I will find another Dr. Thank you

needed question answered before surgery, he was covering doctor, basically hung up on me and told me to cancel my surgery. Stay away from him-didn't want to be bothered. Arrogant for someone named Vivian

He is very good explaining what he will be doing before the procedure and and what he did after the procedure. This is the third time he did the colonoscopy for me.I am very satisfied and comfortable using him as my doctor.

Dr. Bethala is a caring, gentle and very knowledgeable doctor. He makes you feel comfortable right from the start. He listens to your concerns and discusses his thoughts and plans with you. I would recommend him to anyone. I finally feel like I found a gastroenterologist who understands and. Ares about my needs!

Dr. Bethala saved my life...He has been my doctor since 1985. There was a time in the late 90's when I went a long time without seeing him..One day in 2002 I went to see him for a bronchial infection.I wanted to get home in a hurry,but, Dr.B insisted I stay for a thorough blood test.The blood test (that I did not want )revealed a 7 PSA indicating a possible prostate problem.He sent me to a urologist who found Prostate Cancer in its early stage.I was successfully treated.Dr. Bethala is in my prayers every day.

One of the most thorough, caring doctors you will ever have the good fortune to have care for you. You may have to wait for him sometimes because he will spend the time on each patient that his care demands. Also, he is often held up by his hospitalized patients.....I know because when I went into an emergency situation, he came in and took care of me until he had stabilized me and I was able to recover.
