Dr. Vivian Pilar Hernandez-Trujillo, MD

Very disappointed. This doctor was highly recommended by my coworker and sister. Since December 2023 I made sure to change my daughter's insurance and get referral for my daughter to be seen, I emailed all necessary information in order to get the appointment which was set. I called the day before the appointment to confirm and was told the appointment was cancelled (did not receive a cancellation call) because of missing referral. Mind you the office does not set up appointments without referrals. Spoke to Salome, which was not able to give me a concrete response as to why it was cancelled when I emailed referral and appointment was set. I asked to speak to office manager and was told that the person in charge is the doctor. My daughter has not seen her asthma doctor since November in hopes to start seeing the "highly" recommended Dr. Trujillo. Can't leave review on doctor's performance but I can tell you that the office operates in an incompetent way.

Absolutely awful. Arrived 10 minutes early for our appointment with my 2yo daughter. Her front desk staff told me how much our co pay would be, and I questioned it as it seemed very high, as in higher than I expected the whole visit to cost let alone co pay. The girl never said we needed to pay in advance before we would be allowed to see the doctor. She did say she would look into the CO pay amount. I also asked how much it would be for self pay, and she said she would let me know. We sat down and waited. We were the only ones there. After 45 minutes of waiting, sitting in a small lobby with my daughter, looking right at the front desk staff, I inquired about when we would be seen. Now the staff tells me we need to pre -pay to be seen and we have not paid. So they never told us what the self pay amount would be, and just watched us sit there for 45 minutes thinking we are waiting for the doctor, when in reality they had no intention of seeing us. These folks are running some sort of… scam racket. Absolutely horrible people.

We have been with Dr. Hernandez-Trujillo since we discovered our child’s allergies. Among the many qualified professionals, her bedside manner is unmatched. Her professionalism and experience is as high as her compassion and empathy. She is clearly driven by her passion for medicine and kids. She patiently listens to all our doubts, concerns, ideas and suggestions. We felt welcomed from the very beginning. She made us feel like we were a team, and together we were going to handle the food allergies. It is an ongoing situation and her recommendations have been spot-on. We are confident she is leading us in the right direction and hope to continue with her as long as necessary, for many years to come.

I brought my one-year-old son to see Dr. Hernandez-Trujillo and she gave us all the time we needed to review his eczema condition and food allergies. We had a skin test performed and she explained to us the intricacies of the test and what the results meant. It felt like we were her only patients that day, the way she patiently spoke with us and answered all our questions. Now, I can keep my son safe from foods he might have a reaction to, like nuts, barley, and eggs. Definite recommend for Dr. Hernandez-Trujillo. Plus, her office is conveniently located in Miami Lakes, right off the Palmetto.

Extremely thorough threw the whole process. Couldn't have asked for a more professional Person or Dr. Thank you for all your help

We have been to several allergists/immunologists in the South Florida area, and without a doubt, Dr. Hernandez-Trujillo has been the best. We have been impressed with her knowledge, especially about allergies to food and all the up-and-coming treatments being developed. She has a wonderful "bedside manner" with her young patients and explains everything to them at their level.

Extremely knowledgable and very thorough. Shows she cares about her patients by the amount of time spent in speaking to parent and child.
