Dr. Vladimir Medved, MD

He dismissed me after I asked him to explain why his license was suspended for drug abuse and addiction.

Not very attentive, he seems very forgetful, sometimes careless. Medved had his license suspended for habitual use of opiates and benzodiazapines, per NYS Department of Health website. I didn't know this at the time I became his patient. Avoid him.

I have bowel pain/bleeding for over 21 months now which got so bad i felt it radiated to my two back disk which caused stenosis to the back as well with no adequate medicine to treat it. It now shows in the CT SCAN and finally around two months ago and finally got scheduled for pain management for around 2 months out. arrival time was for 1pm and the appointment was for 1:30. So i was getting ready to go to the appointment no rush, then my colostomy bag started leaking..... I was upset I had to fix it and sadly it takes time, then i rushed out the door to go see him 36 miles away. Then I was hitting construction away as well! got there at 1:07 for the arrival time try to explain what happen, they didn't even care! schedule me for another two months out! So if you a colostomy patient and you need a good and understanding DR. Then I feel that this guy doesn't care and that you will be treated worse because you shi# differently than other patients! enough said give 0 rating if I could!!!

Dr. MedVed is THE best doctor in the North Country (and perhaps the world)! This man is among the most knowledgeable doctors I have ever met in my life, and I've lived all over the east coast. His is always ultra-professional, yet completely compassionate; and this combination of knowledge, professionalism, humility and compassion result in the best pain management care I've ever had. He goes out of his way to determine where you are psychologically as well. Count yourself lucky if you can be treated by him - I value it highly and we lucky to have him here. He's the best.

This doctor dismissed me from his practice, leaving me with morphine dependence and I one to turn to. He had no business prescribing that drug to me for moderate pain.

I saw Dr V. Medved when he was doing Family Practice with his wife. He is a straight talking doctor who cares about his patients. He accurately diagnosed a case of essential tremors that had been missed by previous physicians for probably close to 30 years. Unfortunately for me and many of his other patients, Dr. Medved left family practice to specialize in pain management. The only less than positive feedback I have is that he has a very strong accent and I always had a difficult time understanding him, since I am not good at catching on to foreign accents.

I have visited Dr.Medved many times and he is a wonderful Dr. The only thing I'm sad about is he is no longer a family Dr and is practicing pain management which he is also very good at.I highly recommend him he is a great dr,

I have been attended by Dr Medvedev for probably six to eight years. He is a very caring physician. He is also very practical and doesn't try to push unnecessary and expensive testing and procedures. The only problem I have ever had was understanding his accent so basically I think he is the best, very knowledgeable and caring
