Wadie Shabab, MD, FAAP, practices pediatrics with Cleveland Clinic Avon Community Pediatrics. He is Vice Chair for the Pediatric Institute and Childrens Hospital, Vice Chair for Community Pediatrics, and Section Head for Avon Medical Offices, where he sees patients. Dr. Shabab is board certified in general pediatrics. He earned his medical degree from Damascus University and Hospitals in Damascus, Syria. His post-graduate training includes a pediatric residency with Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Shabab is a Fellow Member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. , he has served on several Cleveland Clinic committees, including the Pediatric Institute Same Day Access Committee, Patient Experience Committee, and the Community Pediatrics Strategic Planning Committee. He also has volunteered his time for Fit Youth Family Weight Management as a Program Speaker as well as with the Michigan State Special Olympics providing physical exams.
