Dr. Wagdy F Girgis, MD

If I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve only seen this doctor twice and I’ve seen more than I need to see. Too many kids in that office and they are very unorganized. Idk if they are interns or what but I feel very uncomfortable there. The last time I went none of the employees were wearing masks NONE of them! Dr Girgis is always very rough with me mind you I’m pregnant. He is quick to diagnose me with something but when I go to my obgyn they tell me my vitals are great and I’m doing good. I leave his office feeling very stressed. I will not be going to see this doctor anymore. He told me that I am high risk because I’m pregnant but this is a lie and is common knowledge that can be found on NIH website that pregnant women immune system are actually active and not suppressed. I feel like he doesn’t care and is just running a business at this point. I will not be going to see this doctor again.

Dr Girgis has been the family doctor for around 15 years. he was good at that time now he does not care about the patient anymore. does not look at the blood work and history and prescribe the needed medications because he is always in a rush. long wait time around 90 minutes. he also has the rudest staff I've ever seen they are not doing their job. I call around 5 times and prescriptions are not sent to the pharmacy, they don't call about blood work results. I have to call countless times for 5 weeks and fight to get them. my sister was in severe pain and when she called him he referred her to an outpatient clinic in a week and when she went to the ER she to have a big internal abscess and needed urgent surgery.

Not organized office

Dr. Girgis' office is friendly, professional, efficient, and clean. They have really decreased the wait time, so I usually get seen in just a couple minutes. They really try their best to make your visit pleasant. Dr. Girgis and Irina are so knowledgeable and supportive and I just adore the nurses and the entire staff!

Dr. Girgis has been my primary care family doctor for twenty years. He is an outstanding family doctor who combines up-to-date professional expertise with a warm and friendly demeanor. I believe I am alive today because of his expertise and attention to detail. My wife is a registered nurse and has also had Dr. Girgis as her family practitioner for twenty years. She has total respect for his opinions, and believe me, she can be hard to please when it comes to medicine. He is well respected and very popular, which is why the wait time in the office can be a bit long. I have recommended him to many of my friends and coworkers.

why i recommend him: plenty of staff even they are busy you will get you what you want. my advise is to talk to the nurse who will do some tests. He has two nurses. Ask them many questions about your test and try to get some informal advise from them before you meet him. Then when you see the doctor, discuss these issues. He is very cooperative as well as his staff. but better do your homework about your illness before you go to your appointment. Then, when he meets you, spill everything and go over test results with him especially the previous ones.

The waiting time is far to long.My last visit i waited 90-min to see the Doctor for ten min?.

Always a long wait, always put on hold for too long, office is chaos; they lose prescriptions, they never call you back, they are rude and not accommodating.

THe office staff are veryy rude and inconsiderate, especially the front desk they are really rude and dont care about the patient and dont even bother to get the patients lab result to be checked by the doctor. Dr. Girgis is a very caring doctor, as much as he is good and nice his staff are so mean and rude. I gave it two syars because of how good Dr. Girgis is.
